Manchester United and Arsenal are both reportedly weighing up a move for Atletico Madrid forward Alessio Cerci.
The 27-year-old only joined the Rojiblancos from Torino in the summer, although a lack of game time at the Vicente Calderon has left him feeling frustrated.
Cerci could now be offered a route out of Atletico, however, with Premier League duo Arsenal and United ready to make a January bid for the Italy international, according to The Express.
Diego Simeone is said to be willing to cut his losses on the £13m signing and accept an offer in the same region, having seen the striker make just six appearances since joining.
Red Devils chief executive Ed Woodward revealed yesterday that the club are not looking for "short-term fixes" when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
