Manchester United have reportedly decided that they are prepared to make a £444m offer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.
During the summer, Neymar completed a world-record switch from Barcelona to the Parc Des Princes, and the Brazilian international has since netted 20 goals in 22 matches in all competitions.
However, reports have cast doubt over the 25-year-old's happiness in France and Real Madrid are said to be readying a bid should the attacker become available during the next 18 months.
The La Liga giants could face competition from United, however, with the Premier League outfit prepared to pay a figure of £444m for the forward, according to Le 10 Sport.
The alleged offer would dwarf the astronomical £365m said to be set aside by Real, and it has been claimed that a deal with United would be easier to negotiate.
Neymar's contract with the Ligue 1 leaders does not expire until 2022.
