Manchester United 'set for huge summer clearout'

Manchester United are reportedly ready to allow as many as six players to leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have reportedly decided that they are prepared to sell as many as six players during the summer transfer window.

United have been heavily linked with a wide range of players in recent months ahead of a summer rebuild, and it has been suggested that four high-profile signings could be made before next season.

However, according to Sky Sports News, discussions have taken place regarding the possible exits of six members of the first-team squad.

Ander Herrera, Antonio Valencia and Juan Mata could all leave on free transfers, while Matteo Darmian is also expected to move on having not made an appearance since January.

Marcos Rojo is reportedly being allowed to spend time back in Argentina, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will allegedly have the final say over whether Alexis Sanchez is allowed to depart after a disappointing 15 months at Old Trafford.
