Manchester United winger Daniel James has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Leeds United.
Despite having only just started his second season at Old Trafford, the Wales international faces the prospect of dropping down the pecking order if United bring in a new attacker.
According to The Sun, that has led to the Yorkshire giants beginning to monitor the situation ahead of a potential bid for the 22-year-old.
Before James departed Swansea City for United last summer, Leeds had previously expressed an interest in completing a deal for the player earlier in 2019.
Although Marcelo Bielsa's squad is now well stocked with players who can play on the flanks, it appears that they may move for James should an opportunity arise over the next two weeks.
James has contributed four goals and seven assists from 47 United appearances in all competitions.
