Estudiantes are reportedly preparing to hold talks with Manchester United over the possibility of extending Marcos Rojo's loan deal at the club.
The Argentina international returned to El Leon in January, having struggled to secure a regular spot with the Red Devils in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign.
Rojo has only featured on one occasion for Estudiantes this season, though, with the coronavirus outbreak calling the majority of world football to a halt.
The defender's current loan deal will expire at the end of June, but according to Info Cielo, the Argentine club will hold talks with United over a possible extension in light of the current circumstances.
The 30-year-old, who joined the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon in August 2014, will see his current deal at Old Trafford expire in the summer of 2021.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, meanwhile, have allegedly joined the race for Real Madrid's James Rodriguez.
