Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has reportedly not moved closer to signing a new contract.
De Gea has spent the last seven years of his career at Old Trafford, but it is currently uncertain whether the Spanish stopper will remain at the club past 2020.
The 28-year-old has less than a year remaining in his existing deal, but United will activate a 12-month option should De Gea not pen fresh terms before the end of the year.
A report has claimed that De Gea is edging towards extending his stay at the Premier League giants, but according to The Telegraph, the former Atletico Madrid man is prepared to bide his time.
United have booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League, but the club currently sit seven points adrift of a top-four position in the league.
That will allegedly result in De Gea waiting to see if United make improvements before coming to a decision over his future.
