Arsenal, Manchester United 'miss out on Valencia's Jose Luis Gaya'

Jose Luis Gaya will not be moving to either Arsenal or Manchester United, according to Valencia president Amedeo Salvo.

Arsenal and Manchester United have reportedly been told that Valencia will not be selling teenage sensation Jose Luis Gaya this summer.

Since establishing himself in the first team at the Mestalla this season, Gaya's form for Los Che has seen him linked with the Premier League duo.

The Gunners were even linked with a possible move for the youngster in the January transfer window, prior to the capture of Gabriel Paulista, but Valencia president Amadeo Salvo insisted that the left-back is not for sale.

"Valencia fight for their rights as it has always done. The player is not for sale and we will not negotiate," Salvo is quoted by AS as saying.

"There is no price for it. His intention is to stay and he will continue with us."

Valencia are currently level on points with Atletico Madrid following their victory over Cordoba last weekend.
