Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti insists that he will not stand in the way of rumoured Manchester United and Real Madrid target Kalidou Koulibaly leaving the club this summer.

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that he will not block Kalidou Koulibaly's exit this summer if the defender wants to leave the club.

Koulibaly has been heavily linked with a world-record switch to Manchester United when the transfer window reopens, while Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in the centre-back.

Lorenzo Insigne is another Napoli player whose future has come under scrutiny amid reported interest from Liverpool and Chelsea, and Ancelotti has confirmed that he will not stand in their way should they try to force an exit.

"We don't need to sell our best players. We can sign new players following our ideas," Ancelotti is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.

"However, I am not going to block who wants to leave, I've never done it in my career."

Ancelotti also ruled out speculation that he could return to Stamford Bridge amid speculation over the future of Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

"I am happy in Naples, nothing has changed. I want to continue what I've begun, there are all the conditions to be motivated, the rest is just talking," he added.

Napoli currently sit second in Serie A, 20 points adrift of champions Juventus.
