Team News: Wayne Rooney, Fernando Torres start on bench

Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres both start of the bench for Chelsea's visit to Manchester United this afternoon.

Manchester United and Chelsea have both made a string of changes to their starting lineups for their clash at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Wayne Rooney starts on the bench for the Premier League champions as Ryan Giggs, Tom Cleverley, Anderson and Nemanja Vidic all come into the side.

There is also a change between the goal posts for United, as Anders Lindegaard replaces David de Gea.

Chelsea interim manager Rafael Benitez has made wholesale changes to his attack as Juan Mata, Demba Ba and Oscar all return for the visitors, while Ashley Cole comes in for Gary Cahill.

Fernando Torres and John Terry are both named among the substitutes while Eden Hazard is rested.
