Premier League predictions gameweek 36: DAYTIME TV vs. Sports Mole
Sports Mole takes on DAYTIME TV singer, and Liverpool fan, Will Irvine for a Premier League predictions challenge in gameweek 36 of the 2023-24 season.

Just three matchdays remain for the majority of the clubs in the Premier League this season, making each and every game potentially pivotal when it comes to achieving their respective goals for the campaign.

Gameweek 36 promises to be another key one at both ends of the table, and Saturday in particular could be crucial with both title contenders and two of the relegation candidates in action.

The title race bookends the day, with Arsenal kicking things off at home to Bournemouth in the early game, before Manchester City welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers in the late fixture.

The relegation picture could have changed before Saturday, with Luton Town hosting Everton on Friday night knowing that a win would lift them out of the bottom three ahead of Burnley's game against Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest's trip to Sheffield United on Saturday.

Attention will then turn to the top-four battle on Sunday as Aston Villa vist Brighton & Hove Albion before Tottenham Hotspur take on an out-of-form Liverpool side at Anfield.

Chelsea also face West Ham United in a London derby on Sunday - one of two capital derbies this weekend with Brentford hosting Fulham on Saturday - before Crystal Palace welcome Manchester United on Monday night to bring an end to the weekend's action.

Each gameweek, Sports Mole is taking on a famous musician or band in a prediction competition, and this week it is the turn of DAYTIME TV singer, and Liverpool fan, Will Irvine.

Will Irvine Q&A

Daytime TV press shot

How did you come to support Liverpool and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?

I was about 12 when I first started watching Liverpool with my cousin who's mad for it. I got hooked pretty instantly. We were doing pretty badly when I started supporting so it's been epic building up to winning the Premier League and Champions League with Klopp (yes, I will be ugly crying the day he leaves).

My favourite memory, except the trophies and the recent good times, is anything Kolo Toure ever did.

Who have been your favourite five players for your club?

Kolo Toure, Philippe Coutinho, Martin Skrtel, Bobby Firmino, Alisson Becker. Icons.

What's going on with the band at the moment?

We've had a pretty epic time recently supporting some bigger bands like Kaiser Chiefs, Two Door Cinema Club, The Amazons on the road. Everything makes sense when we play live. The rest of life feels like we're just waiting to go do that again. Either that or desperately trying to rig up a TV in a dressing room somewhere to watch the game.

We're just about to release our new EP 'Island' which feels like a huge moment for us. We poured blood, sweat and tears into these songs so we're buzzing for the world to hear them. We'll be hitting up some festivals in summer and then touring more later in the year. Be sure to come get amongst it!
