Premier League predictions gameweek 30: Joshua Grant vs. Sports Mole

Premier League predictions gameweek 30: Joshua Grant vs. Sports Mole
Sports Mole takes on Joshua Grant for a Premier League predictions challenge in gameweek 30 of the 2023-24 season.

The Premier League returns with a bang this weekend after the final international break of the season as a tantalising title showdown between leaders Arsenal and champions Manchester City headlines the action.

That heavyweight contest brings the curtain down on gameweek 30's action, with the Premier League now in the final straight towards the end of the campaign.

Liverpool will have the chance to move top and pile the pressure on their two title rivals earlier in the day on Easter Sunday when they host Brighton & Hove Albion, with the other eight matches all taking place on Saturday this weekend.

That busy day includes Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur hosting relegation-threatened sides in the form of Burnley and Luton Town respectively, while Manchester United visit Brentford in the final game of the day.

Each gameweek, Sports Mole is taking on a famous musician or band in a prediction competition, and this week it is the turn of Joshua Grant.

Joshua Grant Q&A

Joshua Grant press pic

How did you come to support Dundee United and what are your favourite memories from your time as a fan?

I've supported Dundee United my whole life due to my dad and grandad being fans. Countless memories have been made following United through cup-winning seasons, demotions, promotions and on occasion European football, but if I was to pick one moment it would be beating Ross County 3-0 to win the Scottish Cup in 2010.

Who have been your favourite five players for your club?

Everyone will know Andrew Robertson and Stuart Armstrong but not many will know they cut their teeth while at United, they are definitely in my top five.

Nadir Ciftci was electric as well. When I was younger Noel Hunt was a favourite. Finally I'll have to say Sean Dillon, he's the player I've watched the most with over 300 appearances, a proper servant to the club.

What's going on with the band at the moment?

This year we've committed to releasing a song a month, so plenty of new music is coming! We'll be playing across Scotland (and hopefully across the border) all year as well with our next gig in Glasgow being June 11 at McChuills.

Already this year we've supported some amazing bands such as Crawlers and Stone, we love playing live more than anything so to anyone reading, I hope to see you in the crowd at one of our gigs soon.
