Neither Nemanja Vidic nor Ashley Young will miss too many Manchester United matches with their respective injuries.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that the injuries suffered by Nemanja Vidic and Ashley Young during Sunday's 2-1 win over Liverpool are not too serious.

Winger Young was replaced at half time by Antonio Valencia, while skipper Vidic was forced off in the closing stages with what appeared to be a knee injury.

However, Ferguson has revealed that Vidic was actually struggling with concussion and that Young's knee problem should not keep him out for too long.

"Actually, Vida's knee is okay. It was concussion," Ferguson told MUTV. "He had a little bit of concussion but he's okay and fine. He trained yesterday and was good.

"There are no other serious knocks really. I think they're all pretty good. Obviously, Young has got a dull knock, a little bit of a strain on the knee, but it's nothing serious.

"I think he'll be back next week. Maybe not for Tottenham but, the week after, he should be okay."

Tomorrow evening United take on West Ham United in an FA Cup replay.
