Paul Scholes to manage Manchester United reserves

Paul Scholes is expected to become the reserve team coach of Manchester United.

Paul Scholes is set for a move up the Manchester United managerial ladder when he will be offered the position of reserve team manager.

Current boss Warren Joyce is expected to return to Hull City to assist manager Karl Robinson, according to The Mirror.

The switch will leave the role open to 36-year-old Scholes.

The former midfielder, who has already been helping out with the reserve team, retired over the summer after a 17-year playing career at Old Trafford.
