Wayne Rooney has reportedly made an appearance during Manchester United's ongoing behind-closed-doors friendly against Real Betis.
The striker, who is believed to be keen to move away from Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window, missed United's recent tour of the Far East and Australia because of a hamstring injury.
Manager David Moyes recently stated that he expects the England international to recover in time for Tuesday night's friendly against AIK Fotboll in Stockholm.
It appears that he is on course to make that match in Sweden following Eurosport's revelation this afternoon that the 27-year-old has turned out against the La Liga outfit at Carrington.
