Phil Jones wants Manchester derby win

Phil Jones insists that Manchester United are going out to win Sunday's Manchester derby.

Phil Jones has insisted that Manchester United will be looking to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table in Sunday's Manchester derby.

United make the short trip to champions Manchester City this weekend three points ahead of their local rivals at the top of the standings.

"We know it's a big game for both clubs and hopefully we can come out on top," Jones told MUTV. "We're aiming to extend our lead, let's hope we can do that."

Jones made only his fourth appearance of the season for the Red Devils on Wednesday as they lost 1-0 at home to CFR Cluj in the Champions League.
