Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has branded his club teammate David de Gea "a genius".
De Gea came close to leaving Man United in the summer transfer window, with a move to Real Madrid only breaking down at the final minute due to paperwork issues.
Herrera has revealed his delight that his fellow Spaniard remained at Old Trafford, claiming that his club "are lucky to have him".
"He's a genius," Herrera told Radio Catalunya. "Purely on talent, I've never seen someone like him and we are lucky to have him.
"The talent he has, very few have it in the world and David is one of them. It's a blessing to have him close, and hopefully it will be for a long time."
De Gea is currently on international duty with Spain, but Herrera missed out on a spot in Vicente del Bosque's latest selection.
