Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that Amad Diallo is still about a month away from returning to action.
The 19-year-old was on the verge of completing a loan move to Feyenoord in the summer transfer window before his thigh injury scuppered a move.
Diallo will therefore remain at Man United for the time being in order to recover, and Solskjaer has now issued an update on the teenager's rehabilitation.
Speaking to the official Manchester United website, Solskjaer said: "Still injured, still out for about a month. So maybe after the next international break he will be available for us which is great for us.
"It was bad timing for him to get that injury, but he's working really hard and the kid is going to be a good one."
Diallo's first half-season at Old Trafford saw him register one goal and one assist from eight senior team appearances, as well as four goals and three assists for the Under-23s.
