Manchester United will reportedly have a close eye on Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with Bayern Munich this evening.
The Premier League outfit are believed to be keen to discuss their managerial vacancy with Carlo Ancelotti, who is currently the coach of Real.
Speculation has suggested that United feel Ancelotti could be tempted to Old Trafford, but their pursuit is dependent upon the outcome of the match in the Allianz Arena, according to Sky Sports News.
Should Ancelotti's men progress through to next month's final in Lisbon, the report adds, United would give up the chase for the Italian coach and pursue other targets instead.
As it stands, Louis van Gaal is the favourite with the bookmakers to replace David Moyes, who was sacked last week.
