Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma is 'dreaming' of playing in the Champions League amid links with Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Mali international was widely expected to depart the Amex Stadium in the most recent transfer window, but Graham Potter's side have retained his services for the time being.
The 25-year-old is also thought to be the subject of interest from Arsenal, but the Gunners have been dealt a blow in their pursuit following his European admission.
Speaking to the official Brighton & Hove Albion website, Bissouma said: "I didn't go this summer, maybe it's because it's not my time to go. When my time will come, it's my time, but I'm happy in Brighton, I'm enjoying playing football.
"My dream is like every player, I want to play in the Champions League, I want to be champions. I want to compare myself on the top level, not just with other players."
Bissouma has started all five of Brighton's Premier League games this season, but his contract on the South Coast now has less than two years left to run.
