Angelino: RB Leipzig not afraid of "average" Manchester United

Manchester United are described as an "average" side by Angelino, who is on loan at RB Leipzig from Manchester City.

RB Leipzig defender Angelino has told his teammates that they have nothing to fear when facing "average" Manchester United in the Champions League.

Last season's semi-finalists Leipzig have been placed in Group H alongside United, Paris Saint-Germain and Istanbul Basaksehir.

The German club travel to Old Trafford later this month before welcoming the Red Devils to the Red Bull Arena on December 8.

Angelino, who is on loan at Leipzig from Manchester City, is not concerned about the double-header with United.

"I don't know that much about Basaksehir. We know Paris from the semi-finals in the tournament in Lisbon," he told RBLive.

"What I've seen from Manchester United so far: sometimes they're world class, sometimes they're average. We don't have to hide."

Angelino has made four appearances for Leipzig in all competitions so far this season, having been loaned out by City for a second time.
