Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly ruled out making a move for Juventus star Paul Pogba.
City have been linked with the Frenchman for some time, but it is believed that interest has cooled following the appointment of Guardiola.
Pogba has attracted interest from football's biggest names, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United, who allowed the midfielder to leave Old Trafford for free in 2012.
The 23-year-old, who is believed to have a £70m price tag, was a heavy presence in the transfer gossip pages last summer, but ended up staying put in Turin.
Now, according to the Manchester Evening News, Guardiola has opted against making a move for the midfielder this summer after completing the signing of Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund.
City's neighbours United have been linked with a £60m swoop for their former player.
