Manchester City are the latest side to have shown an interest in prising midfielder Fabinho away from Monaco, according to a report.
The 23-year-old is understood to have been among Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho's top summer targets, only for Nemanja Matic to become available.
Fabinho still appeared to be on his way out of the Stade Louis II in the closing stages of the window, though, as Paris Saint-Germain were keen to tie up a double deal for the Brazilian and teammate Kylian Mbappe.
ESPN suggests that, having remained at Monaco for the time being, the ex-Real Madrid loanee is wanted by big-spending English club Man City in the New Year.
Pep Guardiola reportedly sees £67m-rated Fabinho as first-team cover for compatriot Fernandinho, while also being impressed by his versatility which allows him to slot into the backline when needed.
