Lazio full-back Stefan Radu has been openly courted by Manchester City with a view to sealing a transfer this summer, according to the player's agent.
Radu has been a consistent figure for Lazio since joining the club permanently back in 2008.
The Romanian international has been linked with City previously, but the defender's representative Victor Becali now claims that the Premier League side have made a formal enquiry.
He told Prosport.ro: "Manchester City want Stefan Radu, but Lazio are asking for £14m. We'll see.
"I often talk to Manchester City and I can say they really appreciate Radu. I'm not just talking about Roberto Mancini either.
"City want Radu so he can play alongside Matija Nastasic, but Lazio are asking for £13m-£14m. We will have to see."
The 26-year-old normally operates at left-back but has also been used in central defence by Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic.
