Milan are ready to meet Manchester City after Christmas to continue negotiating the transfer of Carlos Tevez, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A leaders were understood to be eager to sign the Argentinian on loan this winter with a view to a permanent deal, but the Citizens are believed to be holding out for an immediate transfer.
Tevez – who has not featured for Roberto Mancini's side since falling out with his manager in September – has returned to Argentina, where he is reported to have said that he has no intention of returning to England.
