Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director has insisted that his club will only move to sign Carlos Tevez if the Argentinian's proposed switch to AC Milan falls through.
The striker has been made available for transfer by Manchester City and Milan have emerged as the favourites to capture his signature.
PSG recently admitted their interest in the 27-year-old, but the French side are currently monitoring the situation from afar.
"I will not steal Tevez from Milan," Leonardo told La Repubblica. "I have not contacted the player and I will not get in between the Rossoneri's affairs.
"We are looking without disturbing anyone. But if my mentor [AC Milan vice-president Adriano] Galliani changes plans, then we are interested."
Galliani is reportedly preparing to fly to England for talks with City regarding the deal.
