Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic have reportedly moved a step closer to leaving Manchester City after the club agreed a deal for Liverpool's Raheem Sterling.
Sterling's arrival is expected to be confirmed later this week and the signing of the England international will further increase competition for places in attack at the Etihad Stadium.
Dzeko and Jovetic have been repeatedly linked with a move away from City after Wilfried Bony was signed in the January transfer window, and the Manchester Evening News claims that Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is in England to discuss a deal for the former.
Jovetic was previously rumoured to be a target for Liverpool, but the forward is favourite to secure a switch to Inter Milan after falling down the pecking order in the second half of last season.
Reports have suggested that City will turn their focus to Kevin De Bruyne as the club continue their efforts to build a squad capable of reclaiming the Premier League title.
