Miralem Pjanic: 'Edin Dzeko would run to Roma'

Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic claims that Manchester City's Edin Dzeko would be keen to join him at the Italian side.

Miralem Pjanic has claimed that Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko "would run" to join him at Roma.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium following the arrival of Wilfried Bony in January.

Roma man Pjanic has suggested that his international teammate would be keen to link up with him at club level.

"Dzeko would run to Roma and the wages won't be a problem, as he'd adjust them," Pjanic told romanews.eu. "It all depends on the club."

Dzeko scored six goals in 31 appearances for City in all competitions last season.
