Manchester City are reportedly not prepared to meet Leicester City's £90m valuation of central defender Harry Maguire.
The Citizens are expected to be in the market for a new centre-back this summer, with club captain Vincent Kompany departing to take on a player-manager role with Anderlecht.
Pep Guardiola's side have been strongly linked with a swoop for Maguire ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Premier League champions are not prepared to pay £90m to land the England international, which could give Manchester United a clear run at the defender.
The 26-year-old, who still has four years left to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium, appeared in 31 of Leicester's 38 Premier League matches during the 2018-19 campaign.
