Real Madrid confirm mutual Isco interest

Manchester City target Isco apparently wants to join Real Madrid, who are confident of signing the £25m-rated Malaga winger, according to Los Blancos president Florentino Perez.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has confirmed that the club want to sign Malaga winger Isco.

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to Manchester City, who are now managed by former Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini.

However, he is believed to prefer a move across Spain and Perez has said that Madrid are confident of landing the highly-rated 21-year-old.

"He wants to be a Real Madrid player and Madrid want him," he told Spanish paper 20minutos.

Isco scored nine goals in 37 La Liga appearances last term and would reportedly cost £25m.
