Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko rubbishes exit rumours

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko insists that he is happy at the club amid constant speculation over his future.

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has hit out at the constant rumours linking him with a move away from the club.

The 28-year-old has been limited to just nine Premier League starts for the champions this season, while Wilfried Bony's recent arrival from Swansea City has fuelled further speculation over his future.

However, after signing a new four-year deal with City at the start of the campaign, Dzeko insists that he is happy to remain at the Etihad Stadium.

"I have just extended my contract with City and that should be a clear message to all the talk about me leaving Manchester," he told the Anadolu Agency. "I don't want to comment on rumours. I am happy at City and focused on the club and their great fans."

Dzeko has scored six goals in 29 appearances for Manuel Pellegrini's side so far this season.
