Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to land Manchester City teenager Rabbi Matondo.
Matondo, 18, will see his contract with the Premier League champions expire at the end of next season.
According to The Sun, City are currently in talks with the Wales international over an extension, but Bayern are ready to launch a £10m bid to bring him to the Bundesliga.
Matondo, whose father played football in his native Congo, was born in Merseyside but moved to South Wales as a child and represented Cardiff City ahead of a move to the Etihad Stadium.
The striker made his debut for the Welsh national team last November, while he has scored six times and registered four assists in Premier League 2 this season.
Bayern are also believed to be nearing the capture of Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has reportedly turned down Chelsea's latest contract offer.
