Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling return to the Manchester City starting lineup for the Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling have both been recalled to the Manchester City starting lineup for the Premier League fixture at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The English duo dropped down to the bench for the 6-1 victory over Huddersfield Town last weekend, but the pair have been selected by Pep Guardiola for the game in the West Midlands.

Those are the only two alterations made by Guardiola as John Stones and Gabriel Jesus only feature among the replacements, as do Nicolas Otamendi, Riyad Mahrez and Leroy Sane.

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has decided to keep the same team which started the 2-0 defeat at Leicester City.

Adama Traore has been kept in reserve as the winger waits for his first start since joining from Middlesbrough, while Romain Saiss remains on the bench having been an option to bolster the midfield.

Diogo Jota and Helder Costa retain their places in the final third, but Leander Dendoncker remains out of the 18-man squad after a season-long loan switch from Anderlecht.

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Patricio; Bennett, Coady, Boly; Doherty, Never, Moutinho, Jonny; Costa, Jota, Jimenez
Subs: Ruddy, Hause, Saiss, Gibbs-White, Vinagre, Traore, Bonatini

Manchester City: Ederson; Walker, Kompany, Laporte, Mendy; Fernandinho, Gundogan; Silva, Sterling, Bernardo; Aguero
Subs: Muric, Stones, Delph, Sane, Mahrez, Otamendi, Jesus
