Manuel Pellegrini awaits news on Sergio Aguero injury

Manuel Pellegrini reveals that he will find out more about Sergio Aguero's injury on Thursday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that he will find out the full extent of Sergio Aguero's injury on Thursday.

Aguero was forced off during the 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday with a hamstring problem but Pellegrini was unable to confirm if the forward would face a spell on the sidelines.

"We will see tomorrow with the doctor what happened with him, maybe he has a problem with his hamstring, we will see how serious it is," the City boss told reporters.

"Sergio is a top player but we don't depend on just one player so we hope it's the moment where Stevan Jovetic can play and hope that Sergio can join us again as soon as possible."

City face Chelsea in their next game on Monday evening.
