Pep Guardiola rules out Bayern Munich exit

Pep Guardiola plays down speculation linking him with Manchester City by revealing that he intends to stay at Bayern Munich for at least the next year.

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he will not be leaving the club this summer amid speculation over his future.

The 44-year-old has been linked with a move to Manchester City, with the Premier League champions reportedly considering sacking Manuel Pellegrini.

However, Guardiola has revealed that he intends to remain in charge of Bayern for at least the next year.

"My future is: Wednesday free, Thursday training, and, of course, next year to be here. That's my future," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

Bayern are back in action on Tuesday when they will look to overturn a 3-1 first-leg deficit against Porto in the Champions League quarter-finals.
