Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is confident that Jack Grealish will rediscover his goalscoring form, following an unwanted 12-game drought without finding the net.

The 26-year-old has scored just two goals in 19 appearances across all competitions for the Citizens since making his British-record £100m move from Aston Villa over the summer.

Grealish recently missed several chances in the victory at Watford, before blazing a glorious chance over the crossbar from close range against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend; however, Guardiola has no doubts that the playmaker will soon find his form in front of goal.

Speaking to the press ahead of City's Premier League clash with Leeds United on Tuesday, Guardiola said: "Grealish doesn't have to do anything different. The way he's playing is good. It will come, absolutely no problem.

"He'll continue to practise because [we've] got so many fantastic players. He thinks we have to score correct goals all the time. He doesn't have to. He has to do exactly what he is doing. No more than that. The rest is coming in time.

"He has chances to score goals every game and one day he is going to do it. He could have had a hat-trick against Watford and he will have that chance again."

Grealish will be hoping to score his first goal for City since September 15 if he participates at the Etihad Stadium against Leeds, a side who he has faced six times previously without finding the net.
