Samir Nasri out for three months

Manchester City's Samir Nasri rules himself out of action for a further three months.

Manchester City winger Samir Nasri has revealed that he will be out of action for three months following another injury setback.

The Frenchman, 28, has not played for City since a substitute appearance in the 5-1 win over Bournemouth on October 17 due to a hamstring problem.

The former Arsenal ace appears to have suffered a fresh setback on the comeback trail after revealing the bad news on Twitter last night.

Nasri, who posted a picture of himself on crutches, wrote: "What doesn't kill you make you stronger. I will be back better than ever see you in 3 months."

He has made seven Premier League appearances this season, six of which came off the bench.
