Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that he is on course to return to action for the Champions League quarter-finals.
The Belgium international, who joined the Citizens for a reported £55m in the summer, has been sidelined since the middle of January with a knee ligament injury.
However, De Bruyne has insisted that he is on schedule to be involved by early April, just in time to feature in the last eight of the European Cup.
"After the international break I want to reconnect with the group. I make that five weeks," the 24-year-old told reporters.
"Then it might take a few weeks before I can play games. Normally I would look at the quarter-finals of the Champions League."
City look destined to advance through to the quarter-finals, having won 3-1 in the first leg of their last-16 tie away at Dynamo Kiev.
