Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Real Madrid vs. PSG

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including Real Madrid vs. PSG.

Man City vs. Sporting Lisbon (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Having stormed to an emphatic 5-0 win in the first leg, Manchester City welcome Sporting Lisbon to the Etihad on Wednesday for the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

The Citizens have one foot firmly in the quarter-finals of the competition as they endeavour to keep their hopes of a domestic and continental treble alive.

We say: Manchester City 3-0 Sporting Lisbon

Sporting can afford to play without fear at the Etihad knowing that their efforts will likely be in vain either way, but the absence of two key midfielders spells danger for the beleaguered visitors.

City need not throw caution to the wind given their healthy five-goal advantage, but Guardiola will still expect his side to win with minimal difficulty as quarter-final preparations begin.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Real Madrid vs. PSG (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Aiming to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg at the Parc des Princes, Real Madrid play host to Paris Saint-Germain in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie at the Bernabeu on Wednesday night.

A Kylian Mbappe strike in the dying embers was all that could separate the two sides in Paris as both capital giants prepare for another clash of the titans here.

We say: Real Madrid 3-1 Paris Saint-Germain

With Mbappe fresh and raring to go, PSG can certainly carve their way through an unfamiliar Real Madrid midfield, and attack may be the best form of defence for the visitors as they attempt to build on their slender advantage.

However, Ancelotti's men are enduring a golden spell at their headquarters while PSG are flattering to deceive on their travels, so we are backing the Benzema and Vinicius-inspired Blancos to turn the tie on its head and crush Les Parisiens' Champions League dreams for yet another year.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
