Paris Saint-Germain have a fresh concern over Kylian Mbappe for Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg with Real Madrid.
The 23-year-old struck the only goal in a 1-0 first-leg win but was absent from the weekend's defeat to Nice in Ligue 1 due to an accumulation of bookings, and he also took a stomp to the foot from Idrissa Gueye in training recently.
However, Mbappe will return to form the familiar front line with Lionel Messi and Neymar at the Santiago Bernabeu if his foot issue is not deemed to be serious, as Angel Di Maria prepares to return to the bench.
Ex-Real Madrid man Sergio Ramos may not shake off his calf issue in time for a Bernabeu reunion, and Mauricio Pochettino also has concerns over Achraf Hakimi, Ander Herrera, Leandro Paredes and Layvin Kurzawa.
Hakimi may be fit enough to displace Thilo Kehrer at right-back, and a raft of changes to the backline should also see Gianluigi Donnarumma, Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes return for Keylor Navas, Abdou Diallo and Juan Bernat respectively.
Georginio Wijnaldum also flattered to deceive against Nice and could cede his place in the middle to Gueye, with Danilo Pereira and Marco Verratti unlikely to drop out of the side.
Mbappe's 94th-minute winner in the first leg was his 13th goal from his last 13 appearances in the Champions League, but Pochettino could be sweating over his striker's fitness until the last minute here.
PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Pereira, Gueye, Verratti; Messi, Mbappe, Neymar
