Real Mallorca hosted Real Zaragoza on Sunday looking for the three points that would have moved them away from the relegation zone.
They had the chance to take the lead early on when they were awarded a penalty, but Victor's effort was saved by Roberto.
The away side were reduced to 10 men in the same incident as Glen Loovens was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence, but they were ahead moments later when Helder Postiga converted from close range.
Mallorca dominated the second period and they eventually scored their equaliser five minutes from time when Victor headed home from close range.

Evening all! Our La Liga weekend commentary draws to a close as Mallorca welcome Zaragoza to the Iberostar. Victory for the home side this evening would move them level on points with Zaragoza and away from the bottom three.
Mallorca have enjoyed the better of the recent meetings between the two sides, winning three out of the last five and suffering just one defeat in that period. However, Zaragoza do enter the match in the better form.
The home side have failed to win any of their last five matches in all competitions, suffering three defeats in that period. Zaragoza have also suffered three defeats in the same period, but two wins has moved them away from the bottom three.

Mallorca kick us off on this mild evening in Spain. The home side have not won in their previous 10 matches. Meanwhile, Zaragoza are without a win in three. Neither side can really afford to lose this match this evening.
Early booking for Glen Loovens as the Zaragoza defender makes contact with the head of Victor. It was slightly harsh as the striker stooped low to make the header. Javi Marquez takes the free kick outside the area, but it is poor and play will be restarted with a goal kick.
Neither team has really been able to put a decent period of possession together in the early stages of the match. Mallorca have had more of the ball, but it was been in defensive areas with Nunes and Bigas exchanging passes in their own half. Nothing much to report thus far.
Decent start from Victor as he collects possession on the right before dancing past the challenges from the Zaragoza defence, but his pass is just cut out on route to Hemed. Nothing much to report from the away side thus far. It has all been a bit stop-start.
First real piece of attacking intent from the away side as Franco Zuculini whips a dangerous cross into the penalty area, but Dudu Aouate comes to collect the danger before starting an attack for the home side. Not a great deal of noise inside the ground on this cold evening in Mallorca.
Half-chance for the home side this time as Marquez strikes a free kick from outside the penalty area, but Roberto gets down well to clear the danger. Both goalkeepers have had saves to make inside the opening 11 minutes of football.
PENALTY TO MALLORCA: The home side awarded a penalty as Loovens fells Nsue in the penalty area. Meanwhile, a RED CARD is handed to the defender for his second bookable offence. An absolute horror show for the away side.
SAVE! It's a wonderful save from Roberto as he turns Victor's effort wide of the post. It was a decent strike from the forward, but that's a real top save.
The home side's players were arguing as to who would take the penalty. It appears that the wrong decision was made. But with the man advantage they will still feel confident.

Oh my word! What a start to this match! Zaragoza advance immediately down the other end as Postiga pounces on some poor defending before rounding the goalkeeper and slotting home.
Football ay?! It is obvious to see why Mallorca are on such a terrible run. Their confidence is absolutely shot to pieces. But they do have the extra man and will attempt to exploit Zaragoza as the match advances.
What an opening 20 minutes of this match. Zaragoza have the goal to hang onto, but it is all one-way traffic at the moment with Mallorca enjoying all of the possession. Victor comes close with an effort from outside the box, but it is just wide of the target and Roberto restarts with a goal kick.
It's really poor from the home side as they give possession away three times within a minute of football. Yes they have had most of the ball. And yes they have the extra man. But they look a side short of confidence and overall quality and it could be a long evening.
Zaragoza, meanwhile, are comfortable with their gameplan. They will sit in and attempt to break with the pace of Victor Rodriguez and Zuculini. And in Postiga they have a striker who certainly knows how to hit the back of the net. It is so delicately poised at the moment.
Not a great deal happening at the moment in terms of attacking chances. Mallorca continue to dominate possession, but they are not hurting Zaragoza who are sitting in and defending with two banks of four. The home side are almost playing into their hands even though they have an extra man.
The home side make a change as Giovani Dos Santos replaces Ximo Navarro. A defender for a striker. At least now they should create a few chances. They have a chance here as Tomer Hemed is felled outside the area by Sapunaru.
However, the effort from Giovani is poor and straight into the wall. The second strike from the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is better, but it moves just wide of the target. This match has the feel of a training game at the moment. There is such a limited atmosphere.
The match continues to follow the same pattern with the home side enjoying the majority of the ball, but Zaragoza breaking when given the opportunity. Mallorca just seem unable to find that elusive final pass at the moment. They are in a wretched run of form and it is showing.
Such a casual approach from Mallorca as they continue to pass in defensive areas. The home supporters are getting on their backs and it is affecting their play. Zaragoza are down to 10 men but haven't been tested since Roberto saved the penalty. That tells you everything you need to know.
It is almost as if no Mallorca player wants the ball at the moment. Each time a midfielder collects it he has simply no options in attack. I have watched a lot of football in my life and this Mallorca performance is as poor as I have seen.
The score is only 1-0 to Zaragoza. But they have no interest in attacking. And why should they? They can get to the break at 1-0 and sit nice and tight in the second period. A singular goal would change everything in this match.
Mallorca have had 70% possession up until this point. But the majority of that has come from their defenders exchanging passes. Finally the crowd are heard as Dos Santos finds Hemed outside the box, but the striker's pass is loose and cleared by Alvaro.
Slightly better from the home side in the past couple of moment as they attempt to force the issue down the right. But Marquez's pass to Dos Santos is just short of its desired target and the danger is cleared down field.
Abraham is in the wars here as he clashes with Pina and gains a bloody eye for his troubles. It is horrendous for the away side as they now have just nine players on the pitch. Surely Mallorca must go for the jugular here.
A formation of 4-4-0 for the away side as we approach the interval. It is understood that Abraham will require stitches on his eye injury. But still Mallorca labour with possession despite having a two-man advantage.

Finally Abraham is allowed back onto the field and Zaragoza now have 10 men again. Meanwhile, they also have a free kick and that will be just about that for this half.

So there we have it. The opening period is brought to an end with Zaragoza leading Mallorca courtesy of a strike from Postiga after 16 minutes. It all started so well for the home side when they were gifted a penalty early on, but Victor saw his effort saved by Roberto.
The away side were also reduced to 10 men in the same incident as Glen Loovens was given his marching orders for the foul on Nsue. But Zaragoza took the lead within three minutes following a breakaway goal.

Remarkable turnaround as Sapunaru returns to the field moments after writhing in agony. Miracle?! Something like that. It may have wasted just a few minutes in a period where Mallorca were enjoying decent attacking possession.
Another half-chance for the home side as Dos Santos fires a high cross into the penalty area, but Roberto comes a long way to punch the danger clear under the challenge of Hemed. One thing is for certain, the Mallorca performance has been miles better in this second period.
I don't think Zaragoza have been in the Mallorca penalty area in this half. But with the lead they have no reason to be. They continue to invite the pressure from the home side and although their passing has been quicker, they still cannot find the final ball.
It's better from the home side as they force a couple of crosses into the penalty area, but Roberto remains a powerful presence in the air as he clears the danger. It is almost like attack versus defence at the moment. I am sure both teams have done it plenty of times in training.
Decent spell for the away side as Montanes combines with Postiga before finding the run of Victor Rodriguez, but the striker is chopped down by Nunes. Not that Zaragoza will mind as the minutes begin to tick away.
CHANCE! Best opportunity of the match for the home side as Nsue finds the head of Hemed in the box, but somehow the striker fires wide of the target when it looked easier to score. Meanwhile, change for the home side as Marquez is replaced by Alfaro.
The home side have two penalty claims within five seconds as Dos Santos is chopped down in the box, but the referee waves play on. Hemed hits the ground seconds later under the challenge of Alvaro, but once more the referee is not interested.
CHANCE! Another fine opportunity for the home side as Dos Santos fires a cross into the penalty area. It is met by Hemed, but Alvaro makes a fine diving block. Meanwhile, the away side make a change as Jose Mari replaces Victor Rodriguez.
Little over 20 minutes remaining and Zaragoza still lead. Mallorca continue to pass and probe outside the penalty area, but the away side have been incredible in defence all evening. Who would have predicted this after they were reduced to 10 men early on?

Zaragoza defender Abraham appears to be struggling here. He got a nasty blow to the head in the opening period and will now be replaced by Javier Paredes. They are playing a 5-3-1 formation at the moment.

Mallorca continue to force the issue with attack after attack. But they just cannot open their tally with Zaragoza quelling the danger. They have defended incredibly this evening. But there is still around 10 minutes of football to play.
Mallorca continue to throw crosses into the Zaragoza box with Nsue beating his full back on each occasion. But Minero and Movilla have been sensational. The home side really need their supporters now more than ever. But the noise is so minimal.
The pressure remains as the home side force a couple of corners, gut Roberto comes to collect on each occasion. Pereira also comes close with a strike from outside the box, but it hits Alvaro and goes behind for a corner.
