Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum will reportedly reject a move to Bayern Munich in order to join up with Dutch compatriot Ronald Koeman at Barcelona.
The 30-year-old, who has been with the Reds for five years, will see his contract expire next month and he will become a free agent.
Wijnaldum is understood to have held 'positive talks' with Bayern over a potential move to the Bundesliga, however Dutch news outlet De Telegraaf claims that the midfielder has decided to join Barcelona.
The report also states that Wijnaldum's agent Humphrey Nijman, and legal advisor Jan Kabalt, are both in Catalonia finalising the details on a three-year contract.
Both Barcelona and the midfielder are keen to get the deal completed before he joins up with the Netherlands national team for Euro 2020.
Wijnaldum made 237 appearances for Liverpool and is leaving the club having won the Premier League, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.
