Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly firmly in the race to sign Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
The Frenchman has scored twice and contributed eight assists in 47 appearances for Les Gomes during the 2018-19 campaign.
Manchester City have reportedly already failed with a bid for the 22-year-old, while it has previously been claimed that Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the midfielder ahead of a potential deal.
According to L'Equipe, though, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is ready to make a move for Ndombele, who has a contract with Lyon until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
Juventus, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also all previously been linked with a player who could fetch upwards of £70m in the transfer market.
