Stoke City have completed the signing of Oussama Assaidi on a season-long loan from Liverpool.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at the Britannia Stadium and has been a transfer target for the Potters all summer, with early efforts to bring him back to the club failing.
However, Stoke have now sealed a £1m loan deal for the Moroccan international, who becomes the club's seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
Manager Mark Hughes opted to dip back into the transfer market following a knee injury to Peter Odemwingie at the weekend.
"It's unfortunate that we look like being without Peter for a while but following his setback we felt it was important that we moved to bolster the resources at our disposal," Hughes told the club's official website.
"It's clear from talking to Oussama that he really enjoyed his time with us last season and he's looking forward to picking up where he left off with us."
Assaidi scored five goals in 25 appearances during his loan stint at the Britannia last season.
