Xherdan Shaqiri hints at Bayern Munich exit

Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri hints that he could leave the club this summer if he is not given a chance sooner rather than later.

Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri has hinted that he could leave the club this summer if he is not guaranteed first-team football.

The 22-year-old Swiss international has been heavily linked with Liverpool this summer, while Roma and Juventus are also reportedly interested.

Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer moved to play down the prospect of the attacker leaving the club by suggesting that he is an "important player for the future", but Shaqiri took to Twitter to post a cheeky reply seemingly aimed at Sammer's comments.

Shaqiri scored a hat-trick against Honduras in this summer's World Cup as he helped Switzerland to the last 16 in Brazil.
