Roma winger Mohamed Salah has seemingly moved a step closer to completing a transfer to Liverpool after arriving in England for a medical.
Since the start of June, Liverpool have been in negotiations to sign the Egyptian international but they have found it difficult to agree a fee with his current employers.
However, it has been alleged that a compromise of £34m has been reached and that has led to the 25-year-old making the journey to the North-West.
It has been suggested by Sky Sports News that he will undergo a medical at a local hospital before making the short trip to the club's training ground.
Last season, Salah netted 19 times in 39 appearances for the Italian side, a record which is in sharp contrast to his previous spell in English football.
During his time at Chelsea, Salah made just six starts for the Blues in the Premier League before being loaned out to both Fiorentina and Roma.
