Brendan Rodgers has claimed that Raheem Sterling is "absolutely adamant" to stay at Liverpool.
Sterling's stock has continued to rise this season as the 19-year-old has found himself the subject of reported interest from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
Consequently, the Reds' hierarchy are said to be keen on offering the youngster improved terms in a new contract, but Rodgers claims that Sterling is already "remarkably happy" on Merseyside.
Asked if he felt if the England international would stay, the Liverpool boss told The Mirror: "Yes. Absolutely adamant. I don't think there is anything other than that. His agent is a good agent and he understands this is the perfect place for him.
"The boy is remarkably happy here and there are no secondary thoughts about anything else other than continuing to play for Liverpool."
Sterling's existing deal expires in 2017.
