Real Madrid 'to make £60m Luis Suarez swoop'

Luis Suarez emerges as Real Madrid's top summer transfer target with a £60m bid to be made by the Spanish giants, according to reports.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pay £60m this summer in a bid to lure Liverpool striker Luis Suarez to the Spanish capital.

The Uruguayan was heavily linked with a move to both Real and Arsenal last summer, but ended up staying at Anfield.

However, The Metro claims that Los Blancos are planning to renew their interest in Liverpool's top scorer and have made Suarez their number one target for the next transfer window.

It is believed that Madrid will lodge their first bid of £60m before the World Cup starts, but the Champions League finalists are willing to increase their offer and Real could even use Karim Benzema as a makeweight in the deal, with the Frenchman now in the final year of his contract.
