Real Sociedad defender Inigo Martinez has emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool, according to the The Mirror.
It is believed that Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has sent his scouts over to Spain to watch the 20-year-old in action on numerous occasions this season.
The reports have been positive and now Dalglish is plotting a summer move for the Spanish under-21 international.
He currently has a £28m release clause in his contract, although Sociedad are rumoured to be willing to accept a £17m offer.
