Liverpool have completed the signing of young full-back Tony Gallacher from Falkirk.
The 18-year-old has signed from the Scottish Championship side on a permanent transfer and will join up with the Reds' development squad.
Gallacher, a Scotland youth international, is a product of Falkirk's academy and made 17 first-team appearances for the second-tier club this season.
The Premier League outfit confirmed the transfer on their website on Saturday with a picture of the teenager shaking hands with Liverpool and Scotland legend Kenny Dalglish.
"This is an incredible opportunity for Tony," Falkirk manager Paul Hartley told the Scottish club's site.
"It's not very often that a move like this comes about and I am really pleased that he has been given the chance to go down there and prove what a great young talent he is.
"We are not a club that would stand in a player's way when an opportunity like this presents itself and Tony leaves with our very best wishes."
Gallacher was given his debut by Peter Houston in a 4-1 Scottish Cup win over Fraserburgh FC at the age of 16, before making his first start in the league against Dumbarton one year later.
