Liverpool are reportedly keen to agree a new contract with Mohamed Salah as soon as possible.
The Merseyside giants have announced a number of fresh deals in recent weeks, extending the stays of Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson.
However, Salah remains one of a number of players who have less than two years remaining on their current terms, a scenario which Liverpool will want to change over the coming months.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the relevant parties are continuing to hold negotiations regarding extending Salah's stay at Anfield.
Salah, who has scored 127 goals for Liverpool since his arrival in 2017, has previously been linked with a switch to Real Madrid.
Any plans to move for Salah may now be scrapped by Los Blancos, with Kylian Mbappe and Erling Braut Haaland on their radar for next year.
